I guess that if I expect anyone besides myself to read these posts, I better give the reader an idea of who I am.

Hmmm… this is a little more difficult than I thought. I would like people to understand me, but then there is that "How much do you put out there on the Web for everyone to see….forever".

Well, I am a fifty-something man. Led a somewhat interesting life. Married (but actually pretty late in life). I am in management of a direct marketing company. I am pretty spiritual, but not religious. Republican, but not sorry to see G. Bush go. I fancy myself pretty handy with stringing words together, but never finished college. A smoker (but that will have to stop soon…)  A former smoker, fairly heavy, but perhaps not obese. People say I am a pretty nice guy.

OK, that’s enough. I guess if you stay tuned, you will learn more about me as we go.

Why should you stay tuned? Good question. I said in an earlier post that I journal a lot. I just like to write. I try to stay engaged in our world, but I am also an observer. You might find some of my observations interesting.
